Sorry, I scheduled this to post last Saturday–don’t know why it did not.
Here is a note from David Pound to David Longest about the upcoming Camp schedule
Please post the two pages of the 2010 Woodland Bible Camp schedule on your site. The 2010 Camp Registration Brochures should be available later this month. Once the Registration Brochures are available, they will be mailed or delivered to church representatives. Also, the Brochure will be available on the camp’s website at woodlandbiblecamp.com as a PDF file that can be downloaded. This should be available by April 1.
More information about the camp weeks, work days, and other activities will be available on the camp’s website over the next few weeks.
There are many great opportunities for campers of all ages to experience God’s wonders at Woodland. The camp board and camp directors have been busy preparing for the 2010 camp season. We hope many will participate.
The first opportunities at camp this spring will be for camp preparation. Designated Work Saturdays in May are scheduled. We plan to have a second Open House in late May. Please note the dates of Senior, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Citizens Weeks and Beginners Day Camp. We are excited to have two new offerings this year. The first is a Fish & Work Week in May thanks to J.R. Satterfield. Later in the year, there will be a Middle School & HIgh School Retreat in late September under the direction of Jeff Adams and Larry Bryant. We are very pleased to have Music Week back on the schedule and greatly appreciate Joan Marsh and Jon Adams making this possible. We would also like to welcome Jon Kisel, Justin Adams, and Tim Parrott as new directors for Senior Week. We are thrilled to have Sonny Childs and the MAPsters partnering with Woodland during Senior Week. We also want to encourage our young campers, ages 4 -8, for Beginners Day Camp in July. We appreciate Erin Borders and Valerie Hall for making that a special day for those getting acquainted with camp. In September, please remember Woodland’s Homecoming and Annual Meeting.
We are looking forward to a wonderful 2010 camp season at Woodland. We are thankful for so many individuals and churches who have been a part of this ministry for the past 56 years. We praise God for His goodness.
Thank you very much.
